My journey into Bereavement Therapy and Shamanic Healing
From being very young I’ve always been aware of and in relationship to Spirit.
This relationship led me first of all to try out life as a Nun in a Community in South Africa, then into Ordination in the Church of England where I was privileged and overjoyed to be among the first 32 women in the Church of England to be Ordained as an Anglican (Episcopalian) Priest.
In recent years my calling has led me into Shamanism and to practise as a Shamanic Healer (Practitioner) alongside and in combination with my work as a Grief Therapist.
Uniquely, I tread the way of a Christian Priest and the way of the Shaman these days.
Walking between worlds in many ways.

THE GOLDEN THREAD
Since childhood there’s been a continuous line of gold – I call it my Golden Thread – running through my life which is connected to the healing and wellbeing of people.
As a Parish Priest I supported and cared for the sick and dying at all times of day, and night, and cared for the bereaved often for many months after their loved one died.
Joining the NHS as a Healthcare Chaplain was a further development in this important task, which is also an immense privilege: supporting people whose lives have been upturned by illness, bereavement, accidents.
Personally I’ve experienced many challenges and losses, some of which knocked me into the depths, requiring hard work firstly to reach out for help, and to work with the help provided.
Importantly, I’ve always been curious about what is loosely called ‘the after-life’ because of various experiences which I’ve had, and in which I sensed an invitation to explore these liminal spaces further.

TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
While in the NHS I gained a Diploma in Psychodynamic Therapy followed a few years later by a Diploma in Life Coaching.
Since completing a Shamanic Apprenticeship I practise as a Shamanic Healer (Practitioner).
Following my curiosity about the unseen dimensions, I’ve undertaken training in Mediumship, Trance Mediumship, and Trance Healing, as well as training in Energy Healing.
Together, these formative experiences have deepened still further the grief therapy and the Shamanic Healing I offer to people.
